2011 SPECIAL EVENTS

The Malingri Park will offer you the wonderful blooming of rhododendrons and azaleas in May and hydrangeas and Hosta in July and the oppotunity to visit the Malingri feudal buildings, and breath in the old atmosphere of “Ladies and Knights”.
You will be guided by the owners and some local young guides who will help you rediscover the medieval court of the Palace, the dungeon chapel San Sebastiano, before
passing through the forest leading up to the 11th Century stone Fortress.
You can discover ancient paths, recently restaured, through the woods all around the castle.
This year Aimaro and Consolata d’Isola suggest " sundays in the country ”, an opportunity to picnic among flowers and old trees.
Exploring an intact landscape, walking through the “rainbow park”, idling and eating in the blooming grasses under the old walls, visiting the rooms of the castle, picking with your camera the fresh colours of the rhododendrons…there are many different attractions, which will help make your visit an unforgettable experience.

RAINBOW PARK
On Sundays:  May 13th – 20th – 27th
Malingri park offers you its wonders. An unforgettable view: under old big trees multicoloured rhododendrons
and azaleas, and then a walk through the country and forest to the Castle.

BLUE PARK
On Sundays: July 1st  and 8th
A unique collection of old hydrangeas in every tonality of blue: from the lightest to the darkest blue and a more recent collection of white Hydrangeas, from the leaf-oak one to the climbing one, from the arborescens to the variegata , under the shadow of  centuries-old trees and then thousand of blooming hosta.
The visits of the park and of the all feudal buildings are guided; in the court of the Castle you will findlocal products and wines.

Ticket: 6 euro; reduction for groups and families that have booked.
